Following a Military and telecoms background, I joined the cleaning industry in 1992, and have worked as a Director for both large National Companies and smaller family-run businesses.
During my time spent with a National Cleaning Group – where I first met and worked with Mark – I gained experience and training in many roles and obtained a wide range of industry qualifications. I have worked on a diverse range of contracts over the years, from Royal Palaces and households, to Abbey Road studios and The English National Ballet.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I really enjoy my sport, playing football, golf and rugby – as well as coaching my son’s youth football team – Kingstonians. I also get down the gym, to make sure I can (just) keep ahead with my son’s team mates at training!
My aim is for Turquoise Cleaning Company to deliver a high-quality service and grow through client recommendations and the first class reputation of high standards of service and commitment.
I have worked in the cleaning and support services industry since 1994, initially employed in sales before making my way up to board level for two of the UK’s leading cleaning companies.
I have worked with some prestigious clients, including the BBC and at some landmark London buildings such as Canary Wharf Tower and The V&A Museum.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and travelling to new places, especially if there happens to be a rugby tournament while I’m there. I play lots of sport including rugby, tennis and cricket. I also try to fit in a marathon every year.
Having worked for several large companies, I realised there was a need for a new business model to remove faceless helpdesks and bring back face-to-face communication with our clients while offering new and innovative cleaning services.
In the 1990s, I worked with Brad for the largest family-owned cleaning company in the UK and we have kept in touch through the years, finally getting together again to launch Turquoise – the new colour of cleaning!
